The Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) is one of several agencies that maintains boat pump-out facilities for use each year from Memorial Day through September 30th. If you own a boat and you want to use these free pump-out facilities, you must dock at a floating pier, open a valve on a remote control pumping stand, and use a flexible hose to drain the boat's waste tank.
